One of Chicago’s greatest assets is Lake Michigan. It hugs the east side of the metropolis running from the north end to the south. As the seasons change so does the beauty surrounding it. The Lakefront Trail is one of my favorite paths in the city and there are many times when a moment hangs in the air and you must go out and catch it…or at least be inspired by it. If you have a bike I recommend you bundle up and get out there while the leaves are still hanging. If you don’t, fret not, the new, DIVY bike share program makes it easy and affordable for an autumn date. Start at Fullerton and follow the trail to the museums and beyond, stopping wherever the wind inspires.
