Summer Solstice

“(It) is the time to invite fire into our lives fire to burn away all that we have outgrown and all that no longer serves us; fire that makes the wild things grow in us, for which our inner selves have longed.”

Summer has arrived and it’s something to celebrate. This day represents a time to grow, to live fully, and to harvest those things which we have been working on. Whether you’ve been struggling with a pose or practicing meditation, the summer solstice is a good day to see what fruits have come from your efforts. Take time to acknowledge where you are and appreciate where you’ve come from. Then, re-adjust or set new goals based on this present moment.
