Bee Giving

bee and honey dimensions

Let go of the fear of the sting; a lesson in aparigraha.

Aparigraha translates into non-possessiveness and/or giving back.  In yoga we put a philosophy to action in order to take part in the grand finale: UNION WITH YOUR SOUL (fireworks, fireworks, fireworks).  If not that, at least to have a happy, peaceful, and meaningful life.  It was set forth by Patanjali and is known as the eightfold path or ashtanga which translates into “eight-limbs.”  Aparigraha belongs in the first limb, Yama.  Yama translates into “restraint.”  The yamas focus on our integrity; how do our actions or lack of action affect the world?

In this case it’s with the bees.  I let them get a piece of the action as we’re all indebted to their pollinating.  Without them we’d be very hungry.  Find something in your daily life that you can give up or give back to.
